The KT Pip Counter indicator is a simple and informative indicator showing essential real-time trading information and data. In Forex trading, such critical information and data can benefit a trader during an intense intraday session.

Features

It shows the current profit/loss in the account base currency, pips, and percentage.
Along with the above information, it can also show the currency pair spreads.
Shows the remaining time in the closing of the current bar.

Input Parameters

Account P&L: If true, it shows the profit/loss for the trading account, and if false, it shows the profit/loss only for the currency pair you are trading.
Font Size: Choose the font size for the displayed information.
Base Color: The neutral text color when there is no active trade.
Color in Profit: The text color when the active trade is profitable.
Color in Loss: The text color when the active trade is in a loss.
Show After Current Bar: If true, it shows the information after the current bar; otherwise, on the chart corners.
Corner: If the "Show After Current Bar" is false, choose the chart corner to display the text information.
X Position: The X-Axis coordinate for the text information.
Y Position: The Y-Axis coordinate for the text information.

Installation

The installation is straightforward, like any other custom indicator. You need to copy the indicator file into the following location:

MT4: Copy the indicator file into the MT4 data folder/MQL4/Indicators
MT5: Copy the indicator file into the MT5 data folder/MQL5/Indicators.

What are Pips and Pipettes in the Forex market?

The pip is a term used primarily in the Forex market to denote a unit of measurement for the change in price value (or volume) in the exchange rate of two currency pairs. The pip is the abbreviation for Price Interest Point.

For currency pairs that have four decimals, one pip is equal to 0.0001, and for the pairs that have two decimal places, one pip is equal to 0.01

A pipette is 1/10 of a pip. Nowadays, most brokers use 5/3 decimals in which the last decimal digit is a pipette.
